Robert Is Here | Homestead, Florida
A Valentine’s Day Adventure to Robert is Here Farmer’s Market
The past few months have been absolutely crazy so my adventures have been far and few between. I have spent most of my time working hard to get everything up and running with my new business and making sure everything is in place for my graduation in May.
Luckily, my boyfriend took it upon himself to plan a wonderful Valentine’s Day celebration. He asked me to block off my whole day one Saturday so that we could head to Homestead to a farmer’s market I’d been wanting to check out.
We woke up early and headed to Robert Is Here. I was originally attracted by their Instagram page full of fresh produce and milkshakes, but when I got there I was pleasantly surprised by their petting zoo.
The petting zoo at Robert Is Here was so…Florida. They had iguanas and chickens just chilling among goats, emu, tortoises, cows and yellow belly sliders.
Robert Is Here also has a collection of old planes and tractors which was pretty cool.
We didn’t end up trying the milkshakes because I was too excited about the giant green peppers. If you know me, you know that I eat peppers like an apple. I love love love bell peppers.
I also bought some freshly squeezed orange juice, which did not disappoint. I am an orange juice lover, so it’s always cool to go to a place where I can actually see it being made. It’s the little things in life.
If you live in Broward or Dade or if you’re just visiting, I’d definitely recommend making the drive to Robert Is Here! It is just ten minutes from the famous Knaus Berry Farm (which we were a little late to so the lines were atrocious) so you can kill two birds with one stone.
If you’ve been to Robert Is Here, I’d love to hear if you loved it as much as I did!
