Riding a gondola through the “streets” of Venice was high on my “30 Before 30” list. I was so happy to check that one off on this trip. The gondola ride was amazing. It was so cool to ride through the city and into the Grand Canal. The architecture was wonderful.
What I liked the most about Venice was that it was sooo peaceful. Since there are no cars, it is oddly quiet. Our trip to Venice was so short (only about six hours) and I would love to stay longer next time.
