Oh my goodness. It is just about to be the second best day of the year…CHRISTMAS. I absolutely love Christmas because I absolutely love giving gifts. I cannot wait for my family to open their presents from me in just a few days because I am pretty sure everybody is going to love what I got for them, including the hard-to-shop-for people (my 15-year-old brother).
When I was in high school, I did not have a real “friend group” and I only participated in a Secret Santa once (and the girl who got my name forgot so I did not actually receive any gifts). I thought that Secret Santa was the most fun thing ever, so watching and not being able to participate always bummed me out. When the opportunity was presented to join a Blogger Secret Santa exchange, I was thrilled!
I received the most thoughtful gifts from Keoshia, the blogger behind Busy Doing Me. Every single present was wrapped in beautiful pink wrapping paper (I did not get any pictures because I was so excited that I could not wait to open them).
She got me a cat mug and a matching jewelry dish. I have been looking for the perfect thing to hold my favorite rings and earrings for months, and she got it! She sent me two other favorite things of mine: stationery and tea!
There were also a few gifts for my cats. The dangly toys on sticks are a new favorite for my cat, Bad Bad. She is the epitome of “scaredy cat” so I was surprised by how much she likes it. She dragged one under my parents bed and jingles the little bells until somebody plays with her! I actually rewrapped the little mice to give to her on Christmas Day, an I am sure she will love those, too!
Last but not least, the package included my favorite candy: KitKats. After I opened the package, I left the gifts on my bed because I was in a hurry to get to work. Unfortunately, upon my return, I was left with a bunch of KitKat wrappers, but no candy (again, thanks to the 15-year-old brother). He was very grateful for that one.
I would love to thank Keoshia for the lovely presents and Megan for organizing this Secret Santa exchange. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

I hope everybody as a jolly holiday season. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah!
“And so, as Tiny Tim observed, God bless us, every one!”
These look great! How fun.
